This 1934 coiffure was created by
Clarence Felix, hairstylist, Minneapolis who was awarded first prize in a finger-waving
contest at the American Cosmeticians Association Convention, Chicago.

A triangular-shaped section is created
in the bang area to be used for sculpture curls.

Hair behind this section is swept back
and set in vertical shadow waves.
Two waves are formed on the left side
of the part.  A row of curls are placed in the hollow of the first wave.

At the back the hair is swirled from
right to left across the neckline with an upward swing.

At the left side the ends are shaped
into two triangles of ringlets (indicated by dotted lines).
